PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The OSHA 10-Hour program is intended to provide a

variety of training on General Industry safety and health

topics to entry-level and experienced workers.

Subjects covered will include: Introduction to OSHA,

Electrical Safety, Aerial Work Platforms, Personal

Protective Equipment (PPE), Walking and Working

Surfaces, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention

Plans, Hazard Communication, and Fall Protection.

If possible, Local OSHA Consultation Service

representatives will lead portions of this workshop,

and we will tour a campus performance facility

to help familiarize participants with OSHA

inspection procedures.

INSTRUCTOR:

The lead instructor will be David C. Glowacki, recently named the new Director of Operations for the Kentucky Center’s Old Forester Paristown concert venue. He has served USITT as the Safety & Health Commissioner and is currently the Associate Editor of Safety & Health for TD&T and the USITT representative to the OSHA Alliance Program. Dave has been an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer since 2006, and in 2008 he also became a licensed Aerial Work Platform Safety instructor. Dave is a regular presenter at USITT National and Regional events, and is serving on the Board of USITT-OVS as a Member-At-Large.

$20 - College Student 

$50 - Ohio Valley Section Member 

$75 - Non Ohio Valley Member (Includes a year of membership)
